Dear Esteemed Authors and Readers,

It is with deep satisfaction that I write this Foreword to the Proceedings of the First Valuation 20 Conference organized by the Assessors and Registered Valuers Foundation in association with the International Valuation Standards Council on 27th - 29th October 2023. 

​

I am privileged to introduce the conference proceedings of V20, "Valuation 20: Navigating Towards an Economically Stable World for Sustainable Development Goals." This compilation stands as a testament to the collective efforts of experts, practitioners, and thought leaders who have come together to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time: achieving sustainable development in an economically stable world. 

 

The V20 conference provided a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange on a global scale, with participants from diverse backgrounds and disciplines sharing insights and innovative approaches to valuation. At the heart of our discussions were the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), guiding principles that underscore the urgent need for holistic and integrated approaches to economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
