Ar. (Prof.) Abhimod K

Ar. (Prof.) Abhimod K brings over 26 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning architecture, valuation, education, and research to his role as Editor-in-Chief of Valuers’ Bulletin, the flagship journal of AaRVF. A passionate thought leader and design thinker, he is the Founder of GRIDLANDSd, a practice focused on sustainable construction innovation, and ValuerLABd, which advances methodical and research-driven valuation services.

Formerly the Principal of the Global Institute of Architecture, Kerala, Prof. Abhimod is a mentor and academician known for cultivating critical thinking and integrating real-world application into architectural and valuation education. His extensive field experience includes conservation consultancy, EIA assessments, and leadership in professional forums—most notably as Founding President of The Architects Forum, Palakkad, and former Chairman of the Indian Institute of Architects, Palakkad Centre.

A postgraduate in Architectural Conservation from SPA New Delhi, and a registered valuer, Prof. Abhimod holds fellowships and memberships with institutions including the IIA, IoV, ISTE, ISLE, and INTACH. He has also served as a Conservation Expert in the nomination process for UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

In his editorial capacity, he aims to strengthen the bridge between valuation practice and academic insight, fostering a collaborative platform for knowledge-sharing, innovation, and policy thought-leadership across the valuation community.
